Yesterday evening as I was travelling via ATV up to our workshop I saw a pack of Javelina. It had been a long time since I had seen any hanging around and assumed it was due to our dogs chasing them away ... but it was actually due to no easy food around. The pears are starting to drop from the tree and thus the Javelina have returned. The pickings are slim this year though since the apple trees have only 4 apples and a bird or squirrel already got to one 'em. Hope the pears bring the deer and elk too.
